The sport performance off-season camp is designed to take your physical development in the off season to the next level! The camp takes a holistic approach behind teaching movement and developing force production in all three planes of motion (linearly, laterally and rotationally), the same way you compete.
Each session is 60 minutes in length and develops strength, power, speed and stability!
Within each session campers will gain exposure to:
1. Proper warm up techniques and active mobility
2. Varying types of plyometric exercises and jump training
2. Acceleration, top end speed and change of direction/agility
3. Strength (force production)
4. Accessory work focusing on endurance, stability and posture
We provide each camper with a state of the art facility and some of the best equipment you can train with. The 10,000 sqft facility is the same facility that DU's varsity athletes train within year round.
We have registration options to sign up for 12, 9, or 6 session per camp. This allows registering athletes to pick the session package that fits their schedule during each camp period. The sessions can be used within any schedule you want, but are not transferable to the next camp.
15+ years of results speak for themselves. 3 National Championships with DU's Ice Hockey team, countless athletes moving on to the professional ranks, and a host of professional athletes that seek the guidance of Coach Shaw every off-season. The camps provide training that has lead to dramatic developmental results for our collegiate/pro athletes, yet scaled to the specific age ranges of the camp group. Our athletes have been some of the fastest, strongest and healthiest in the country year after year!
